CHARMAINE CHER
Ballet Teacher
Charmaine started her ballet journey at the age of 4. Under the tutelage of Principle, Ms Jennie Ng, she has completed her RAD Advanced 1 Examinations.
Through Le Grand’s various performances, Charmaine was exposed to performing on stage from a young age. This drove her passion for dance and encouraged her to venture into contemporary dance as a way to expand her dance vocabulary. She was the Dance Captain in her University’s contemporary dance group where she participated in various performances, as well as choreographed the pieces “Ambivalence” and "节哀顺变". She has also choreographed a dance film titled “Blessings” and "You, Again" for the Lion City Dance Film Festival, which was selected as one of the 10 official selections by the judges.
Charmaine’s passion for dance has inspired her to pursue dance teaching with Le Grand where she started her dance journey as she believes in providing a nurturing and safe environment for dancers.
