Ms Evelyn trained under the tutelage of Principal Ms. Jennie Ng since the age of four and has more than a decade of experience as a ballet teacher. Ms Evelyn has extensive experience in teaching the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) curriculum. Presently, she is the head teacher of Le Grand School of Dance.

 

Under the recommendation of the Royal Academy of Dance and its Postgraduate Board of Examiners, Ms Evelyn has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA(Hons)) Dance Education, which was awarded by the University of Bath. Having completed her dissertation on dance analysis, Ms Evelyn imparts knowledge and movement interpretation skills to her students in all her classes.

 

Under the mentorship of Ms. Jennie Ng, she has attained:

• Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS)

• The Registered Teacher Status (RTS)

• Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD)

• Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) Teaching Certificate

 

Ms Evelyn is a passionate dancer who continues to aspire many students. Outside of ballet, Ms Evelyn is vastly experienced in Flamenco, having participated in numerous public performances. In her formative years as a student, Ms Evelyn was also the vice-president of her junior college’s modern dance team and has taken part in the global dance enrichment experience overseas.
