Clarissa started her ballet journey at the tender age of 3 years old. Under the tutelage of our Principal, Ms. Jennie Ng, she attained high distinctions in her RAD and CSTD graded examinations.

Aside from ballet, she is also well-versed in various movement types such as flamenco, jazz, contemporary, and barre. Beyond the classroom, Clarissa has established herself in the local competition, performance, and fitness scenes. Her devotion to the stage from a young age made her a regular medalist in dance competitions within the Asia Pacific and Commonwealth regions. She has undertaken notable soloist roles such as Gamzatti from La Bayadère, Esmeralda from Notre-Dame de Paris, and Kitri from Don Quixote.

Clarissa’s extensive background in the discipline also drew her to become a barre fitness instructor (Total Barre by Merrithew STOTT) during her University years, and the captain of her Modern Dance team in her Secondary ones. Today, she not only teaches but also curates specialized training and certification programs for aspiring barre teachers, guiding them to build strong foundations and pedagogical skills.

Beyond the studio, Clarissa is a peak performance and life coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). With her many years of teaching experience, she continues to take pride in enriching the lives of young dancers and adult learners through thoughtfully curated classes, workshops, and intensives.
